So I went to turn on my regular mt today and nothing happened so I put in a freshly charged hump pack and still nothing, everything is hooked up correctly and it ran fine last time it was out bashing... What do I need to look over to get this truck in action again??? As always I appericate the help!

Prolly the switch. In their current location they get pounded by dirt from the front tire and eventually go bad. I use an 1/8 silicon switch protector on mine which makes it last much longer. Even then I've had a switch go bad just due to mechanical malfunction.

Checked the power switch. Wasn't it so I swapped receivers and I got it to flash the red light so I think the receivers shot. Is it normal for them to just crap out?

I had the same issue one time with my XB. Take the one off your pro and try it on your regular MT....

I never had one just crap out. I've had them powerup just never rebind to the transmitter correctly (dam Spektrums). Now on the old AM/FM's they would typically start glitching like crazy before they bite the big one.

I've had the stock receivers just go out to lunch. Their so cheap I keep a couple of extra around.
If you order the flysky their less expensive. The TX & RX that comes with the Redcats are flysky.

I have two stockers as spares and one flysky as a spare luckily....

Im gonna put a new stocker in, in a lil while...

Whats the bind procedure for the stock receiver?

Thanks Dusty!

I will try this tomorrow am, just finished parting out my hopped up t-maxx, lots of parts to clean, take pics of, and post for sale on other forums/ebay...

I need redcat hop up cash bro!

Put the spare receiver in and bind'ed it. All is good now! Old receiver crapped the bed...

I'm just happy it's back to bashing status...
