If you mount your servo on the inside of the servo plate then you can mount your linkage to the outside of the servo horn. I've done this with my Hitec 5805 and still have a few MM clearance with the dogbone. What this does for you is you can now mount the linkage in a much lower hole and not have to work about the linkage hitting the servo body. Mounting to a lower hole will give you alot more torque in your steering. Even with the linkage mounted so low I can still get it turn hit max left and right. This also moves a very heavy component closer to the center of the vehicle which reduces body roll. Ya, I know non of us are anal-gram-measuring racers but still...
