This is my 1st RC and also my 1st time airbrushing. The Rampage Rally is 80% ready, just need to break in the engine and work out the bugs. The finally step is adding decals, but not too much to rice it out.

Thanks, made the intercooler out of polyfoam trim molding and a table saw.


I'm waiting for a rear mount pipe. I'm running a g270 motor on it and the pipe is holding me back on the top end.

oh man!! i wonder if any of those FS style or mcd style pipes will fit that thing. you better get us some vid of that rig drifting around..ASAP!

Waiting on a rear mount pipe and change up the gear ratio to do laps. Will test it out on a velodrone near me.

Yep, I been looking at that cheap pipe from FS racing on large scale rc.


Yes my first rc, but help with my friend Mike who help paint has FG BMW body. I have video of his 5T and FG doing laps on a velodrome. Just search for the name ajfishing on youtube.


I use to be in the import tuner scene and did vinyl decal, so it came nature.

Underside of the body.


I got a few pm about the grills and the intercooler on the rally. Here's some pictures


The grill is a cut out of a old Ikea garbage can, which they have it at your local Walmart, Kmart and Targets store. I dremel the wrx vent on top and used a hairdryer to bent the the plastic down. So now the metal grill has the vent lip to push against and I bend the end of the grill to cover the shape of the vents in the front. That end is held in place by 2 screws to the bumper.


The intercooler is a ploy foam trim from your local hardware store. I shaped that piece with a tablesaw and spray it silver. I added red tubing and clips for the extra touch.

Intercooler


Oh the intercooler is held in place with 2 screws going through the top and bottom. It also helps in reinforcing the lip. Since I dremel the intercooler opening and folded the lips back with a hairdryer. So I reinforced the front with 2 screw into the intercooler and lots of shoe goo.

wow bro you put some work in on that body. damn i cant keep up with that. im not even goin to try i just run mines naked lol
