I bought a Rampage XB and have run about 4 tanks through it and now when it warms up it just quits. Have no idea what is wrong. I also have a friend in California that bought one and it will not start and he sent the motor back to redcat and they said nothing is wrong with it so he took it to a lawn mower repair shop and they couldn't even get it running. I think there is a big problem with these engines. Is there a Zenoah engine that will fit in these cars? I have used Zenoah engines in our boats and never had any trouble with them.

Yes the Zens fit. You have to swap the clutch case and fan shroud.

The stalling issue sounds like vapor lock. Did you do a fuel tank vent mod?

There are many posts on here how to do it. The simplest way is to drill a small hole in the gas cap, thread in a dubro 8/32 fuel nipple(available at your hobby shop)put on a piece of fuel tubing run it up and out.Good luck.

I had the same problem....venting the gas cap is a quick and easy fix!
