Looks great!

Would love a write up on this if you could?. I know some fab work is required, but did you use any already existing server mounts / cages? (i.e. an XT one, or MT one, or a general one for any RC.)

Is that just two server saver assemblies or the MT dual servo assembly? Does it have the connector bar between to the two steering linkage mounts, or are you running them independent so one servo for left wheels, on for right? I couldn’t tell from the pic.

I know a lot of us XT owners (and the community) who love to fab and hate the poor steering would love to hear more details. Maybe part #'s for any stuff you used, and helpful tips you learned from trial and error.

Rampage-Dual-Steering-Kit $29.99 from rampage hopups

07121 Steering Rocker $5.99

07123 Servo Set $11.99

07141.jpg 07141 Buffer Aluminum Mount $7.99

or if you want the gunmetal

710008 Servo Set(Al.) (Gun Metal) $39.99

710011 Steering Rocker (Al.) (Gun Metal) $39.99

im running 2 TRY-S8166M servos from www.hobbyking.com $24.95 each

just remember if you go gunmetal you have to get 2 each unless you can find just the saver.

all i used from the dual steering set was the linkage, and the battery box. none of the plastic steering parts i used.

all i did was copy the right side to the left side had to drill 2 holes for the servo set just watch out for your center drive shaft its a tight fit. i cut the MT battery box in half put the battery part under the roll cage on the left side which you will have to cut down and drill thru the cover plate of the box to mount i used hole in chass to mount the box with a coulple spacers under it also another area where its tight watch the box and your center diff gear. the reciever went on top of servo and drilled a couple holes to mount it to the servo set a couple top braces across to the servo set to the center support. also used the stock battery box to make my fill in pieces from where i cut the new box in half. the 07141 is an option i recomend it but you can use one from the MT servo kit its just a little shorter then the XT one
