My backyard playground is getting hot as hell with 190,000 acres up in flames and 20 percent contained yeah rite this fire is owning our asses . I say make the best out of it and have a southern Idaho BB,Q and smores

What this country needs is a pipe line to divert flood waters to fire stricken areas . We can make pipelines for the oil companys but we cant make a pipeline for the stricken people.Would create a lot of jobs.Who`s going to pay for it,let the oil companys they have more money than they know what to do with, and the insurance companys they would save money by not having to pay out a lot of claims.Instead of sticking it to the people, they should try helping the people.

I hear you on that , My youngest brother is a smoke jumper and my wife is a insurance agent he gets paid and she stresses out. I am glad the fire is sum what remote area witch is most of the state lol. There is no structure damage or injuries just burning brush and grass God speed to all on the line

inferno

Bert? as we are fairly close on the map you know what happens when the forest circus and the greens combine there 1/2 brains together. It results in nearly 1 brain. They kicked the sheep herders out of the woods, banned selictive logging because of an owl that cannot live in old timber in the 1st place- There is so much trash on the forest floor - when a lightning strike does hit in this weather all the pitch is in the upper canopy of the pines. In seconds it starts to crown out and the trees explode like a bomb- Not a forest fire- an inferno that creates it own weather with a huge mushroom cloud above the fire.- In the Wenatchee national forest in central Washington, we had the round mountian fire- The borade bombers had a perfect handle on this- the main leading edge of the fire butted up to a cliff- the pilots were dammed near begging to drop there loads- control said no. Then the fire crounded crouned out-went over the cliff- This area has hundreds of steep cayons that funneled the inferno- so much wind that it was pulling bull pine- adult trees root wad and all- rocks in the wad- up into the air- going over the men- and sucked into the mushroom cloud. One fire boss told his crew to deploy shelter in the boulders with feet of pine needles when there was a creek 1/4 mile away. the crew roasted to a crisp. This fireboss ended up in prison for a few years- hope he enjoyed his vacation there. - You should see the way the Indians manage there woods- The indian nation has the power to tell the greens- forest circus to keep out. There woods are healthy.- the cattle-sheep keep the brush nocked down. fires there do not crown out.

I say if there is no immediate threat to live stock, homes they need to let the range fires burn the dead poop and they will find that there is less fires in the future to worry about
