need help just put fuel in brand new xt

hi i was wondering if anybody could help me i just fired up my xt for the first time today and without any throttle givin to it it wants to start driving automatically....whats going on here im new to the 1/5 gas ive always had electric 1/10...greatly appreciate some help thanks!

Try turning down the trim on the radio.

If that does not help turn the idle screw down just a little.

ok you mean the throttle trim on the controller? its set at zero right now...

ok take it below zero or adjust your idle screw.

It may be too lien do the wheels start to turn when you pull the pullstart

Start with your carb screws at:

1 1/2 out for the H

1 1/4 out for the L

They don't always come from the factory preset.
