I'd go for the Rampage out of your list, it looks the nuts, need engine and pipe to start but i've read some good reviews and its big too:):):)

Im going for the fg mt 4x4 when i get the cash sortrd as i am just hooked on fgs, just love em ..lol

What are you looking for?...

Do you want wheelies, do you want excellent handling, do you want to wipe the smiles off of the faces of Savage owners? Are you planning on racing (if so, what does everybody around you have?) Are you planning on playing in the dirt or do you want to run on pavement?

I have heard to stay away from the Titan. (I don't own one, so I cannot give an opinion on it.)

In my own opinion, if you are looking for a powerful truck that is VERY reliable, maybe the FG Monster Truck,Monster Beetle,Monster Hummer, or the stadium versions, or maybe the Marder (Buggy) Stock motor with a pipe, it will flip over backwards with 1/4 throttle input. But these FG models are getting dated. But even stock, they still run about 40-45mph with a stock exhaust.

The Hpi line, has great handling, but are somewhat limited in the terms of stock performance. (If anyone has a difference in opinion, PLEASE let your me know) They're not really all that fast without a lot of upgrades to the exhaust and motor. (Go to Youtube.com and type in "stock Baja" you'll see what I mean) Kind of slow, in my opinion.

...As far as the rampage is concerned, I am thinking about picking one up myself, but I need to do some more research. Check out the link on here about the Redcat Rampage, it may help.

Any truck you buy is going to need a tuned pipe, all of them... The stock exhaust "Can" is a joke! It does nothing to improve performance, it is just a means to quiet the engine down. Imagine running a 100meter dash breathing through a drinking straw! That is in affect a stock, "Can"

...Pipes range from about $50 to about $350. There are also Big Bore kits, Stroker cranks, Reeds, Ported motors... etc... The sky is the limit! There a few guys on this forum that have $3,500 race ported, reed valved, stroker motors that could make John Force work for his money!!!

So, not to scare you away from this scale, but the sky is the limit... We are NOT talking about Nitro motors here (and their fake HP numbers!!) I know I am rambling a bit (as per usual) but this an Amazing Hobby/Addiction!!

Any questions... Just ask! We love it!
Trip..

grab the 5T, i would buy it from DDM as they have the best retail price and you get 5% off when you use LSF or HBF as the coupon code. add the 100.00 HPI rebate and its a great deal

I WOULD GO WITH THE RAMPAGE.. its pretty versitle being a buggy or monster truck. the 4 wheel-drive is awsome in the snow..you have snow, don't you?:). it is proble the slowest(mt version) then the others, but all those modells need a pipe and/or headkits.. i think for product support the 5t or rampage would be best.. your kinda limited with the titan when it comes to support groups.. trust me.. you will need them. the rest is up to you, but remember, all those modells have quirks that you will find out about, just about picking wich ones you want to deal with and how much you wana spend..
