I need help tuning my mt. I left the settings on the hsn and lsn as it was shipped. Is there normal settings that it should be on so the mt runs smoothly. I've seen some settings somewhere on the site but forgot the thread. And if im tuning both needles do I have to start at the needles being turned all the way in, then start turning needles back out to specific points? I would appreciate some help on getting the car moving in the right direction my wife is getting restless lol. Thanks:)

Thank you I'll try those settings, i'll let you all know how it turns out. Thanks GTS and Deluge for the help :)

Ok I used the settings installed a new spark plug because the other one burnt out because I was running to rich. Car ran fine for about 10 mins than I decided to turn it off and rest it for about 15 mins. I tried starting it up again and as soon as I pulled the cord the car started driving at full speed luckily I always have it on my stand. Is it because my idle is set to high? What would be a good setting for the idle. Thanks

I installed the hitec hs-645mg before this problems started happening. My stock throttle servo went ballistic on me during breakin and went straight into the wall breaking my front upper suspension arms and steering mount. I'll try to adjust the idle to see if that helps. Another thing is what is the oil to gas ratio, I have mine at 30 to 1 gal, is this too much? Thanks again everyone.

As for the truck at full speed after starting it maybe it has a air leak. Check around the carb see if the bolts are tight.

Did you reset the failsafe? Usually when you install an aftermarket servo, you have to reverse the channel so it'll work properly. If that's what you did, you need to reset the failsafe. If you don't, it'll go full throttle when it kicks on, instead of full brake.

Thanks for all the tips guys, I will check on all of them. If it is the failsafe, how do I reset it? Is it a matter of unplugging and replugging it back. Thanks

The receiver has a built in failsafe. If you're running the inline failsafe, toss it.

Here's a vid that covers the built in failsafe. Skip to 1:55.

I guess the problem I was having was with the failsafe mechanism. I tossed it out plugged connectors back in, started the truck and it came on just fine no wheel spinning. Did a little tuning but other then that the truck ran fine for the first time. Had a good 20 mins of run time and turning a lot of heads. I'll see how it runs tomorrow thanks for the help Deluge and the rest of the rampage group :)
