So my xt takes off fine but after a short run it starts to lose

Power and eventually stops moving any

Suggestions as to why this is happening?

It might be loose set screws on a drive square. Take the gear cover off and see if the gears are or are not spinning when you are having the issue.

Welcome to the forum!! Does the motor bog down or stay at a mid to high RPM when this happens . I see you have a XT I had a similar issue when the foams in the tires went south it was like running on flats and the tires start to flop and kills the momentum so I would check your tire foams as a precautionary measure.

Thx for helping with this issue every one.

The engine works well. It seems like the clutch

Is over heating because it will move good for about 30sec to about a min

Then will quickly stop moving forward but will continue

To idle. If I let it sit for about 2-3 min it will move

Again then do the same thing over again. Ive replaced

All bearings and clutch bell but not the clutch pads.

Pull the engine out and check out the clutch. Sounds like something is binding, though. Does the engine struggle when it stops? Like there's a load on it? Does the truck roll freely when you push it?

I would have to say the clutch pads are toast. My rig did that but it was off the start. I replaced the pads with 8000 rpm and its geat
