Need new steering servo

I am going to order the Hitec, but its looks different than stock, The stock runs with a gear. The hitec has that servo horn end piece? So how do you hook it up?

You use the servo horn that comes with the Hitec servo. You might have to enlarge the linkage holes on the horn, a bit. Then just mount the linkage as usual. Pretty simple.

Don't even need a drill motor to enlarge the holes on the Hitec servo arm. I enlarged the hole on mine today using two bits, a mid size and the final bit, just spinning the bit with my fingers

Plastics nice and soft. I've used a body reamer on mine.

Thats what i did. What about using the blue aluminum one and just cutting the end piece off?

Yep, you can trim them to be a single side arm.

I'd stick with a plastic horn. The Hitec horns are pretty strong. I run one on my 5805 and it has held up to a lot.

I've never broke a servo arm.
