Need some help

I'm looking into getting the 27.5 cc OBR Long stroke that pumps out 7.5hp.


I know ill have to do some real work on the drive train to keep it all together.


I just wanted to pick your guys heads to see what I need to get and where to get the parts so I'm not breaking anything.


Any help would be much appreciated!!!!

i don't think you will need to beef up much if you have one of the newer versions like v3v4 ive done some machine work to my engine and no issues so far (and im ruff with my truck cause my mado is they make new parts every day lol)

what about some taller gearing?

Do you have the square hub gears or the 4 pin hub gear? If you got the pins hubs gearings options are few lol

Yep i have the 4 pin set up. Where do i go to get the gears?

I think rob has them on rampagehopups.com but if you gear up your going to losealot of acceleration with the faster gears

I second that... I was running 31/29/25/25 on my Dune Runner and it had speed but terribly slow acceleration. I flipped to 29/31/25/25 and the acceleration is much better...

If I'm running with 7.5 hp motor I dot think ill have a problem with acceleration even after using higher gears.

I doubt you will need to re-gear. Just make sure it comes with an 8k clutch spring.
