Hey Folks,
I recently sent an email to innovative hobby (on Monday) but have not received any response back.
When placing my order for the baja 1000 comp, Besides the electronics including radio gear, motor, pipe and perhaps the optional gear set, what else should I look at so that when this shows up in the mail I can start running right away.
Also, as far as motors go, I'm looking at the 4 bolt 27.2 ESP mod and ported version. Can anyone give some details on this as far as power output? I'm looking at 5 to 6 HP. If I'm gonna spend this kind of money I would like to get something with GOOD power without having to spend a grand on a full blown race motor. I plan on using the samba pipe as well. This would add to the HP correct?

Thanks,
Pete

Don't know much about the Samba pipes, their hand made ones were wicked so I assume that they will still add some good punch.

As for motors, keep in mind that the bottom of the case with a Zen case will have to be machined away for it to clear the driveline. One possible option is to have built, or build yourself the motor on one of our DS cases, they clear the driveline with no, or extremely small amount of mods. The Zen case needs a fair amount of clearancing. Just a thought for your motor options.

Other than what you have listed, sounds like you are good to go, you will need to make sure you have 3 good servos like the HiTech 5745 or the Rhino Digi4.

That is nice looks like you have won the lottery spending all that at once. LOL
All the best. Looks like you have it covered.

Darksoul,
What do you currently have in stock for motors? Are they built when customers request one? I have the funds now for the motor if available but am waiting until the middle of september to purchase the vehicle and all accessories needed to complete the package.
What's the turn around time for the motor?

Pete
