Got my V8 Supercar driveday tommorow, been looking foward to this for ages but a little nervous now, don't want to stack in infront of mates and strangers but I want to push hard at the same time.

Cant sit still LOL. :D
 
id love to see that, heard they are amazing.

well end of the working week now, time to go home and try to sleep before tommorow, don't like my chances!
 
well turns out there was nothing to be nervous about, had an excellent day but a little dissapointed in the acceleration, my V8 at home is quicker in a straight line! Heaps quicker!

But the braking and cornering is something I wasnt expecting, nearly lost my head first time I jumped on the brakes! And its corners so nice, hint of understeer at the limit but thats it. Got it to 250km/h a couple of times and took a few hard corners in fourth, used all the track and slid it out, very satisfying.

ill get the vid up on youtube, I didnt get overtaken by anyone (other than when I first enter the track) but managed to overtake a few.

I have a 1968 HK with a fully (and i mean fully) worked 355 stroker. GTS-R block with all the good bits, no expense spared. TH400 stage 2 auto, ford 9inch, 33 spline axles and full spool with 411 gears.

Its for sale at the moment, want to concerntrate on dirt bike riding and the 1/5 scale stuff.
