Was just skimming through my purchases at DDM since February and......... DAMN! Pulled my RUNNING Marder outta a 7yr sleep this winter and after buying some odds and ends I tallied up a $2500 splurge! I can't believe it, besides servos, new spketrum,shocks, head kit where does the money go?!? Well I know where it went I have a list! Lol. But damn it's been expensive! I don't even wanna try and add up what I spent yrs ago getting it halfway to the point it is now, used it a lot more then. I prob got over 6k in this buggy between blown motors broken parts and being an idiot and having the local shop rape me. I do all my work now.... Moral of the post NEVER look at your online transaction history!!! Just don't do it!!!

Just think how much the wife spent in superfluous 'fashion fads' in the same period - bet you don't come close, particularly if you include the hairdressers' ..... !!

You enjoy your hobby, you can afford it ..... ENJOY IT and put that 'history' where it belongs ... in the past!

Al is right, ask how much it cost the last time your wife had her hair dye'd and cut? Make sure you are sitting down though. At least your hobby involves something physical that you will still have in a month or two.

No wife here guys. At least I made one smart decision lol..... I love my buggy and would never get rid of it. But I do get frustrated with it and looking at what I've spent on her and how she treats me sometimes, damn!.... Maybe I do have a wife and her name is FG Marder lol.
