new 2.4 issue!!

guys

just got my new 2.4 transmitter and receiver

but there seems to be a fault when power the system the throttle works perfect but the steering does not work at all when you power on the steering just goes to full lock

the next vid is to show you when i swap the servo's over and you can see the steering works fine on channel 1 but channel to does not work at all

am i missing anything from the receiver ... sorry guys i'm old skool new to 2.4 was using 27Am

Does the stick move the steering at all? Is the steering trim centered? Have you changed the position of the steering servo horn on the shaft?

In the second vid he puts the steering into the throttle channel and its central and when the throttle sticks are moved the steering works as it should...

Ask for an exchange if i was you and if its the same with the next then its something to do with the set up..

asked for a replacement but still no reply from vendor

what do you mean by that ? you saying what i have bought is cheap crap ? i bought this unit as i don't need anything fancy at all if i can control the car i'm happy .. i am sure its a good make.. i'm new to 2.4 so if you have any other suggestions i all ears :)
 
i have the model up from yours and i got mine from the same place
i had a problem almost the same with mine i phoned the shop but they wanted me to sent it back so they could check it
i couldn`t wait so i took the back of and found one of the wires had come off the stick switch a quick solder job and has been fine since

your not that far from me :) my brother in law has 2.4 system i will see if it works on his i am feeling its the receiver at fault

will get back to you if all fails ..thanks for now

just removed the back and not as simlpe as yours no loose wires i am feeling now its the receiver
