Just Ordered one of these .
Bit of a punt , but thought I would see how it goes .
Not too sure I believe the power output figures Quoted, but going to pull it apart and see what we have when it arrives .
Worth a look at the price I thinks-l1600 (1).webps-l16.webp

Hope she goes hard for you mate, what were the power output figures, you guy's in America should look hard at Australian company roster tail engins, you could get them cheap with the exchange rate of US dollars to Australia dollars
I'm a Aussie, I have a full mod reed 30.5 & boy does she go hard

will post some pictures of my findings when I get the motor in bits.
Yeah , seems like a big claim for a 32 engine .
If the cylinder/piston is rubbish I may fit a better one .
May go with an AKILL Racing cylinder and piston.

Don't know much a bout akill , only heard good things about them, you can get top end kits form rosster tail, over here in Australia, don't know what he charges for shipping, but with the exchange rate, you still should get a good deal
I know I want one of those sexy titanium exhausts from akill
Should take a weight of the car to

Dunno about that mate . the pound sterling is in the bin right now , and the shipping may be a bit hot unless it goes by tramp steamer to Blighty.

Australia dollars over here in Oz Bud

One US dollar is equal to $1.50, over here in the land down under
Just looked it up, competition 32cc head kit would cost you $150 US dollars

Post office tracking says it is due tomorrow , which is handy as I am an engineer and on night shift tomorrow.
May be some stripping down going on , depending on how busy the factory is.

That's awesome news Bud,
Very interested in how much port work you find has been done, hopefully heaps

Well, got it today and stripped it for pictures tonight.
First thing I noticed is coil pack bolted to fan cover instead of cylinder.
Reed block looks good , will open out the crankcase a little to blend it in for reed block.
Not too sure about piston and cylinder porting . Probably go for Akill cylinder and piston kit.
But overall, not bad for the money.

Thats wacky how that coil is mounted.

First thought is if you have a degree wheel mounted to set timing it makes it hard to put flywheel on with the coil and index it where you want the actual timing.
Normally the degree wheel gets mounted on the output side then I can mount coil and flywheel ; set timing and coil gap.

Always fun to tear into something new!

I am sure a standard fan cover will fit.
Just about to order my Akill cylinder set once I have checked stud spacing with a standard gasket, and the Akill cylinder has coil pack posts.
Got the cases apart now to clean up the inlet tract and check transfer port matching.

Opened up the cases to flow the ports in a little and change to a stuffed crankshaft.
This is a complete different design to all the previous motors I have seen from China . Connecting rod has a lube slot in the bottom (which I will use in the new Crankshaft.
Main bearings are 12x32x10 instead of the usual 12x28x8 used in other engines .
Stud spacing is different to all the usual cylinders , so I am going to open up/blend the ports in the cylinder . Still fitting an AKILL light piston though.
overall the castings and crank seem very high quality, as do the main bearings .
More pictures as and when.
