New 5b converted to class 1 kraken owner

Hi guys

Got a great deal in a king motor 5b and just converted it to a 5T along with a Kraken class 1 cage. Awesome machine! My first 1/5 and I'm hooked.

I'm in my 2-3rd tank of gas.. But I've had a problem.. It would seem once the engine gets hot, it will stall on me. I've leaned out the low speed needle which helped.. But still not resolved. It is a fuelie 26cc engine. Throttle servo is a hitec 5645MG and steering servo is a hitec 1/4 large scale.. I'll find the model later. It's a digital one too.

Receiver is a spektrum srs4201 and remote is a spektrum dxs4 which is awesome.

Seems to be an old issue once I googled. Perhaps carb, carb gaskets, gas cap issues, crank bearings...

I will get a new spark plug this week and start from there. My gas cap does have a vent hole.. What should I look for? I know my gas tank has a lot of pressure in it when I open it. Perhaps it's that??

Well.. I inspected the gas cap vent hole. It wasn't even drilled all the way through! I redrilled it last night, perhaps it was a vapor lock or what not causing issues. Will report back.
