Sorry, about the crappy pic. I've been playing around with the camera on my cellphone.

It's been a while since I last posted a pic of my beast, so here it is.

  • CPI Rampage pipe
  • Dual Hitec HS805BB servo's
  • Traxxas Link 2.4 ghz receiver/transmitter

I also ballooned the receiver for the nice Maine winters up here. :D

Otherwise, It's bone stock. This site has been a big help getting it to this point.

Looking Good, I Love my CPI pipe! Very Respectable power Looks great and it never gets in way like all those side pipes do.

Food for thought, don't use the Fan cover mount screw as is. In a roll over, I busted that mount since the muffler spring and bracket took the rest of the brunt.

With new fan cover, I just use a very thin 3mm bolt with washers on either side w/ nylon nut just snug...this way if similar happens, it will just snap / bend the tiny bolt (hopefully)

i live in Maine also. what town are you in? i live in Lewiston maby we can get together some time.there is a bunch of us that run in Buxton also in the summer.

@ Deluge: No kill switch yet, I've looked on Killer RC and none of those work with the Traxxas Link 2.4 ghz radio. I ran this radio because I run it in my Slash so I already had 1/2 the system. I haven't had any problems yet. But I religiously check the Rx and linkages for problems before I go bashing. I just have to get some spare cash to upgrade to something that works with Killer R/C's switches.

@XDEEDUBBX: basically what I did was just put my receiver inside a balloon to keep it dry from the snow. If you look up waterproofing receivers you may be able to find more info on it.

@krashkrieg: The pipe turned my MT from a kitten into a tiger. I had never flipped my truck until I got this pipe. Then I flipped it 3x in a little over a week :D .

Thanks guys for the encouragement and tips, I've learned alot on this site:D

No problem. I used to do the same thing to my B4 back when I was into racing. Dirt can wreak havoc on a receiver. It's a cool trick, plus it's cheap.
