Hi every one! Got tired of fighting with my nitro's and bought a new 5b 2.0 .
I have a proline under tray for it, and am looking for a pipe. I don't want anything too loud and want it to stay in the back, not down the side. DDM pipes seam to be the most popular, but was wondering about the RDlogic pipe. I just like the size of it and the diff colours it comes in. But all that means nothing if it doesn't perform! Any other good pipes for a good price?
Also is the only way to change gearing to replace both pinion and spur as a combo? The manual doesn't say how to adjust gear mesh so I was wondering because they do show opt pinion sizes? Sorry for what some will think is a dumb question but i'm a baja virgin!!! Lol Thanks, Ron.

I'll second a move for a JetPro, transformed my FG MB into an even crazier animal!! I opted for the silenced pipe too, the other just makes ya ears bleed... lol
on my baja though i'm using the exhaust that comes with the SS, very neat, makes a noticable difference in performance and has an acceptable noise level. you can also get em really cheap on ebay..

DEFFO check out the Uber RC Predator pipe. LOADS of us bashing at Deeside use them now. Very tough, VERY well made, Excellent performance, great looks. We love 'em !!:D

+1 on the Predator, well made and a really good price and customer service is second to non.
Another good pipe is the Dom Silenced Pipe if you want it quiter.

Stay away from the RDLogics, i have 1, i used it when i was waiting on the Predator and it held the baja back something rotten.

Jetpro's are also good and quite but again not that good on pick up and give a less hp rating than the Dom and Uber Predator.

Thanks for the input everyone. I was wondering about the RDlodgic pipe because they don't have a good rep on a T-Maxx. Guess they coulden't get it right on a gas eng either! Was thinking of the SS pipe due to the low price on e-bay.
What about gearing? Is stock the best for bashing or is there a better ratio? What is everyone gearing too?

Mines just stock at the mo, though I've changed the block from a 23cc to a zenoah 29cc, so the buggy can afford to have slightly longer legs now as the engine has that little bit more extra torque n power to help propel it :-) I'm gonna have a read on what gears I can fit at some point..
