Here you go, finally got a chance to set up the new mounts & paint it.To be honest, i'm not overly happy with where it sits on the body. To much exposed rear end. It would look better if i went back to my shorter chassis. It's 2 inch shorter & the body would cover the exposed parts better. But i prefer the long chassis look for a buggy.I cut the old body just in front of where the side pods stop, painted them black & mounted them to help cover the exposed parts.The new body itself is a bit flimsy, it's the same thickness as 1/10 body. Not rigid at all, so i added 2 extra body mounts halfway along the chassis. If i roll it , it will deform & look crap i think.And it came with NO window mask. That was a painful job.Ildy666 said:
I used old body posts, fitted them about 1/2 inch forward of the stock side mounts & added 2 more half way along the chassis for more rigidity. I just drilled holes in the chassis & used beedlock screws to hold them on. After I cut & drilled them to size.Chief409 said:
