Firstly, to the mod's, apologies if this is in the wrong section.
So, for all intents and purposes, I'm new to R/C cars, so if I ask a few obvious questions, I apologise, but it's not a wind up.
I'm looking for a 1/5th scale car to both race and smash up and down jumps, and to arse around with in fields and wasteland.
Since I'm in a position where money isn't too much of an issue, I've narrowed my choices to either a HPI Baja, or the Losi 5ive. I think a battery powered car would be a wiser choice, as it's a bit less anti-social, and with a few batteries, it's not an issue with run times. However, the Losi not coming with a battery option, I'd have to convert it. Are there any high quality kits to convert?
The other option is to just give in and get a petrol powered truck. Just how loud are these things on full-throttle?
Or the final option - consider something I haven't mentioned and / or don't know about.
I'm open to all suggestions! What do you guys think?
Finally, if anyone who is on a other large-scale forum too, sorry for the repeat post, but it looks like this forum is more frequently used - I'm not spamming!
