yeah it should fit straight in from what i remember its the same platform as the fg most of the fg bits fit the tq and shenqgi clone cars i had a 29cc a while back in my fg beetle and it went really well plenty of grunt low down and top end was wicked but i kill it in a runaway
 
the 26cc cy is a good motor ,ive heard a few bad things about the 29cc mainly the plaiting on the cylinder don,t last long, paul b went thru 2 heads in weeks.
 
I would seriously consider not to buy that engine. The CY 35mm cylinders are the worst cylinders that CY has manufactured when it comes to the plating. I haven`t tried the cylinders myself but I have read to many threads about bad plating on those cylinders to stop me from buying one.

A much better choice is the CY 36mm cylinder. I have over 5 gallons of fuel through mine without any problems.

its mad how c,y carry on producing such a bad product as the 29cc head, they must have had feadback about this problem by now ???????????
 
Yes, I agree but maybe they have improved the plating on the new ones :sleep:

As mentioned, I haven`t tried the 35mm myself but I have read a lot of negative stuff about them.

i didnt realise its a 35mm bore mine was the 36mm and thats spot on it only died due to flat out runaway into a friends vaxhaul nice and expensive plus it nearly wrecked my marder big time was gutted only had 2 tanks through the engine fresh rebuilt gutted

ooooooo nasty mate , i wreck,d a new engine the other week i,d only just run it in and took it to deeside to play in the sand, all was going well untill my air filter fell off and i must have been running for a while without it in pure sand not good.
 
those 35mm bore topends are the worst topends around, well next to the clone cy/zen motors.


stick with a good old Zen G260 (which should be around the same price)

i was runninig a 23cc dzy motor for 8months and never let me down, and my new motor is a dzy bottom with a cy 26 top end, i rebuilt a k,m 29 motor for mikelfc it had had two tanks thru it but i found a lot of rust inside the motor from the crank and bearings,
