Guys,

I have put a new cilinder on my engine but it will not start. When I prime the engine I see the fuel going back through the line. I cleaned the carb but it won't work. I tried my 813 carb same thing. On both the carbs the standard setting is 1.5 turns for both the needles. Sparkplug works fine. But I think there is no fuel coming into the engine itself Engine is 29cc Pitstop Power head engine.
I don't know what is wrong. Anyone knows what the problem is.

did you put the fuel lines on backward? was it just a new head you put on or did you change the piston also. if you swapped the piston then check to see if you put the piston in right. the arrow on the top of the piston has to face the exhaust port. do you have spark?

ya, we ll need a bit more info on what you done during the new topend install.

what gaskets you used, any sealers? did you change crank bearings and oil seals?
does the plug look like its getting wet?

if no, you can always try a bit of fuel thru the plug hole to see if it pops?

The seals and crank bearings are as good as new. The spark plug is dry and even when I put in a few drops of fuel it won't pop although the plug sparkles. The arrow points also towards the exhaust.

sounds like things are in the correct place.
no fire even with a dipped plug huh? have you tried a new plug after a lenghty de flooding process?

If you think there's no fuel getting through, then i'd suggest a carb strip down and clean with some clean unmixed fuel or wd40
