Just check this out ....
There's a 'garage' stripping down pretty good cars, admittedly with some problems, quite happy to take money, delaying, asking for more money ....
There are engines on pallets taken from the 'donor' vehicles and they replace with totally trashed engines .....
Scary stuff!!
There's an Evo VI I think, which had some engine problems.
They said they could rebuild for £2,200, then doubled the fee.
Dom and the boys found the car, returned, in pieces, engine pieces - all over - inside the cabin, in the boot.
A 'reputable mechanic' said he's no idea if all of the parts are there, and would need time to sort out.
To get fully operational, call it £8k!! 'Easier to write it off' !!
That's honesty for you.
