Introducing the Big Bad Black n Blue Beast

I'm using my new pipe as an excuse to show off the first few things I've done to make this Rampage my own....

I grabbed this up on Ebay...It's one of 3 prototypes tested for the new CPI rear exit pipe.

(I'm still on the waiting list for the all AL pipe from Sprint77, just couldn't wait anymore to let the beast breathe)

Easy install, nice bracket, fits like a glove. Looks and sounds great. Great low to mid end.

Can't wait for this weekend to get it really dirty! :D :D:D

Good idea on the fuel line bracket, TGN sells one in blue ya might like :)

Just drill it out a bit and mount on the side of the engine, like this:

I don't need the zip tie, but I like to keep it there just in case :)

Good looking rig too man!

Just a heads up on your pipe where the pipe bolts to the pull start housing if it was me i would move it to the chassis. when we tested those pipes at the power jam we broke the head bolts. rob64n and myself have found when you bolt it like that you break the head bolts  you have a good looking truck

Thanks, did you have it attached to the shock tower then? and did you have tube at the flange to allow stress? Now I'm concerned, I like the way it's currently mounted and not sure how I'd go to the chassis??? I'll keep a look out for now, but let me know please. Thanks for the complement.

We had it just like you have it here's a pic we had a long and a short version the long one is the one that caused the problem with the head

Thanks, mine the short so I won't worry...looks like they made a better bracket for production (see my pic of shock tower)...do u still run either pipe?

I seen this pipe at Powerjam also and as far as fitting under a TT body . You will need some snips or lexan scissors .
Thanks Sprint...I still want your pipe with the Big Bore (for sure)...

Also...apparently on the MT you will need to trim a very tiny bit of the edge of the rear bumber, after the video I noticed the bottom exit had melted a bit of the bumper where it barely touched it....I knew it would probably melt but wanted to run it right away... :D

We ran it as a truggy so we had to cut the whole bedside off the body. and as for breaking head bolts the one pipe that did it did not fit well and i had to tweek it. i probably shood have not ran it for that reason but try yours if it fit easy without having to bend the engine bracket let me know how it does, thinkin of getting one but i know i will have to modify it so i need to contact cpi before i do and maybe they will modify it for me

I can't believe I didn't zip tie it there where you did under the exhaust. I melted my fuel tube there...NOW I zipped tied them to the tank braket.

No need to modify, they fixed the fitting problem with mine...as soon as I put the spring on, the motor mount / tower bracket holes lined right up! Haven't painted body yet but should only need a little trim I hope

(I always hope for a little trim... :p )
