Today I made new diff cup for my TT, I have not yet any problem with the original, but the goal is to adapt the FLM 155mm extended axle (made for HPI baja) with also bigger ball end.

I made it from 4140 steel and I hardened them.

Here a non slotted one, and on that one I keep the ringed end non slotted. Also some pic of the rear.

WOW really great...I wish you worked for Dark Soul so they could go into production...

Uhh, I think your in need of a new gear set next...lol

I will first see how the cup hold before tinking about selling a few, but this is very time consuming, I don't have a CNC lathe, so.... I sit it near the lathe and watch the work, it's really annoying, I don't know if I can make a batch at a reasonable price.

As for the gear, I'm in wait for real hardened sets, those plastic one do not last for very long, about one tank a set, I bought several plastic MCD sets to see what gear should be fine for my 2 speeds projet, now they are all melted, but I have a good idea of what combination I will use.

Nop, the one in the link are FLM cup for 1/5 HPI baja.

They can fit on the rampage hub but you will need cutom axle (15mm ball end) and custom differential cup (15mm hole), like the one I make, Rampage are 12mm.

The goal with bigger ball end axle is to work better with the extra suspention travel I have, and to help a little more I also widened both front and rear with a larger A-arm support, making the axle less angled.

Yes this is HPI sway bar, I installed it on front and rear, and yes this is a completely different TT now, better control and stability.

No, HPI are 125-128mm and redcat are 135 or 138mm.

FLM extended dog bone (for FLM extended arm kit) are 155mm pin to pin, this is the one I use.
