still pretty smooth at the exit, it starts to bend in when it tapers off... much more protected that way. I realized after it was for the 5T but hey. I'd also imagine it's baffled at the T to make it flow better. Dino doesn't make copper tubing pipes

How does it work with the 'smooth flow' theme, as just on the exit, the gases 'hit a brick wall'?
Surely this will cause turbulance, and decrease exhaust efficiency?

Its doing the same but even worse where it exits the engine.......This will reduce the performance compared to a single outlet pipe with a sweeping bend. The idea with these pipes is that the gas flow is uniform into the 'chamber' ie the fat bit and this chamber is what gives the added performance. It creates a pressure drop to draw more exhaust gas from the engine which in turn draws more fuel/air mix in to compensate hence increase performance and responsiveness. If the gas flow is turbulent as it enters the chamber the effect will be reduced somewhat.

well all I can tell you is that I have been running the drag pipe for several races and it has the most alsum power you have ever seen. As I drag race my baja i spin the tires almost the entire lenth of the track. working on getting the power to the ground. my team mates car is flying useing jet pro pipes. they are the best out there in my opinion.

like I said, it is a prototype. he has to build it somehow. not everyone can bend something to fit first time without mistakes ;). Dino is a master pipe guy. I love my jet pro pipes. they are tough as nails. I've dented and crushed most other pipes but never a jet pro.
