Hi I'm going to be putting a new cy 2 bolt engine together with the esp ported head, rcmk crank shaft and want to know if there is any good tips or tricks you guys know of as this will be my first time building an engine
 
Have not done it myself, A friend with a 5b did.

So ... 2nd hand info

What he found, to use the copper head gasket and copper sealant helps.
 
I have ran the crap out of my 2 bolt stock motor with the esp 30.5 head. I used stock gaskets and feel if they are torques down with a torque wrench and red locktight I have had no blowouts and its as reliable as my 4 bolts. Some don't have great luck with 2 bolts

Tell me if this is a better crank shaft then the stock hy one. I built the motor with this crank, the esp ported head, the reinforced gaskets, an aluminum intake manifold, and a walbro 990 carb, velocity stack, kn type filter, and for the pipe I'm gonna use my jetpro side mount. I already have the 8k clutch and Im also gonna add the light weight flywheel. Oh and outerwear filters on the pull start, lower case, and air filter.
