i think a 26cc has a different stroke to a 30.5cc, so if you put a 36mm head/piston will it only be a 28.5cc or even 27cc ? anyone? not 100% sure.

the piston would fit on the connecting rod but would not fit in the 26cc cylinder

To convert your 26cc engine to a 30.5cc you will need a 30.5cc bigbore topend kit
Depending what engine casing you have 2 bolt or 4 bolt Chung yang or a Zenoah

what if he used the copper gasket off the 30.5 and the 26 head would,nt that be a 27.5 ??

he would need the stroker crank to use the copper spacers,
really not worth all that when he could just get a head kit from OBR or DDM be done with it
the crankcase can be used from either any of the 2 bolt zen or the cy engines
i have several that i have done i used the 23cc crankcase with the 29cc head kit, worked great
