Hi all, Im toying with the idea of a new Engine to upgrade my existing ss CY 26cc, Ive been looking over on OBR UK site but theres so many to choose from, basically I'm looking for a good all-rounder 4 bolt engine, budget £300 max, I can use parts off my cy if need be, thanks Mark

Ive been offered the OBR Full Mod long block either 27.2, 29.5 or 30.5 decisions decisions would the 29.5 be the best of both worlds?

there are plenty of different engine builders out there mate, all plastered over the web and plenty of people putting together threads on them . if you have your mind set on OBR, all listed should perform well.

there 27.2 fullmod is brilliant for me, but thats for me for the sort of stuff i use my fg baja for
also have a look on youtube too and dig deep into the net and do your homework.

you may want to go the longblock route so you can use your existing parts( carb,clutch case,clutch, flywheel,pullsart) off you current motor
have you had a look at oddified and stEVO tuning motors in the u.k ? im not sure if the evo tuned engines are available as a longblock but the full engine might be out the price range but one of the guys off here got a oddi as a longblock.

thanks for input & advice guys, I've had a good browse round & I think the 29.5 is the one for me, Im going to go for the long block as you say it keeps the costs down as I can use my current parts, thanks again
