New Engine: Need advice

So, I might switch the engine of my Xb to my Baja and vice versa.


and I was wondering what is the best Engine 600 or 700$ can buy?

For xb my choice would option 2 or 6

Dan at OBR said the long rod is a bad choice for the 4wd but I have also heard they are awesomeness... Go for #6 and if its sluggish put in your baja

I want something that can be interchanged. Im searching for power on all rpms.

I pmed rcmax:

The rcmax46 is 1800$ (only includes engine and pipe)

Rcmax65 is 2800$ -___- (that includes engine, pipe, filter kit, hd clutch system, carb, linkages)

Im not gonna go and spend 2k on an engine.. i can get a new REAL car lol!!

What aout the 8.2 bhp #5 )? Would it be good on xb or 5b?

My choice would be number 2 and 5 for both Baja and XB.

#5 is an excellent choice of motor..

I have the reed engine (#5) in my 5ive. It makes nice power. It would scream in a lighter XB or Baja.

I will most probably go with #5

Or

Bartolone 30.5 reed case and XP pipe

I do not know about its specs but im guessing they're somehow similar. Bartolone makes great products
