I bought a used baja, without the engine,being new to 1/5 scale cars, i don't need a crazy powerful engine, but one with a kick to it it?



Any suggestions welcome!!!
 
Gizmomotors.com has the best motors dollar for dollar on the market. Call down there and they will get you what u need. I run a rcmk cr300f 30.5 full mod motor. It's awesome and under $380.
 
I am running an oddified Red top heli engine in my on road and love it. But if you want crazy, i mean really really crazy power the only answer is brushless. I have just started setting up my 12s FG Leopard and ran it for the first time yesterday, 3 mins in i had almost bald rear tyres and had snapped the front drive shaft. If thats not power and torque what is??
 
Bos standard 26cc Zen is a brilliant starter if you don't need stupid fast.It still has enough kick to bring a smile on your face as well.
But...what do you want it for? i.e,sprint,long straights...etc
