I just purchased a FG 4x4 conversion kit and got it together with some spare parts from a 2wd FG. The 2wd large engine mount did not have offset steel fixing plates like the FG one does. The guy I bought the 2wd from said the engine mount came off a firehammer so that he could use it with a stock CY clutch bell housing without having to dremel it out. That confused me for awhile untill I started mounting the CY engine. From the looks of the instruction manual's pictures it looks like you have to dremel the CB housing so that the engine mount holes line up correctly. So my questions are:
1) How far do you have to notch the CB housing? I can't find any information on it.
2) Does a CY CB housing even fit with all the extra material around the outside? Should I just get a Zenoah housing and notch it?
Thanks for any assistance you guys can provide.
