i just bought a redcat from rob couple days ago. what parts would you get something breakes ?

Servos and bigger battery pack should be first on your upgrade list.

Way too may choices on the servos. Most people use Hitec or Savox. Do some reading in the electronics section.

For the battery, DavesMotors.com or LargeScaleRC has them. I'm not sure if any of the left side advertisers have them.

would this work in the chimera

That is what most people use, you just cut off the old plug and solder it to the new battery.
