okay i just finished installing my new 29cc headkit, one problem though the idle is unadjustable it is very high and tuning the idle and the low speed have no effect i checked the carb bolts and they are tight , any suggestions?

it could be an airleak from the cylinder...generally if idle wont go down while making the low speed needle richer its an airleak.....i suggest u check the head bolts and gasket between the cylinder and crankcase

last time I had an Idle that was uncontrollable it was the head gasket blown out causing an AIR LEAK... I'd double/triple check everything!

i tightened down the head bolts tighter and i believe i either stripped the screw or the hole in the crank case, im really not having a good day.

Take it apart. Was this a head kit with a crank? If it was, did you trim the crank case gasket? When you install the crank case gasket, it tends to stick out a little at the top. If you don't trim it, the mating surface will be uneven when you mount the head and that'll cause issues.

Also, check your carb/intake gaskets. Make sure the carb/intake bolts are snug.

yes i trimmed it but i wish i had a razor so i don't know if i got it perfect, im gonna strip it down tommorow and see if i need a new crankcase which would suck because i just put new seals and bearings in the other one. Man i need a miracle, i have an idea some can go invent a tree that grows money, so i can buy the parts that seem to break before i can even get the car out of the garage lol thanks for the help everyone it was very helpful and im glad i have this forum. also why does my car have a Ruixing carb on it?
