Just took my 2WD FG MT out for a 'spin' and that's all it does on wet tarmac!!

If U'r considering one of these, U need 4 things;
1. Understanding wife - or none.
2. Understanding neighbours - of none.
3. Loads of makuta (money in Swahili).
4. 4WD.
I'm spinning madly, and once it gets onto the very wet grass, it goes fine, but gets covered.
I reckon this IS the way to go, Voo was looking into it on a previous thread somewhere, but 4WD is essential.

I suppose I could try winning the lottery again!! :clown::clown:
 
well i have the monster truck comp so i have a heavy truck w 4x4

just cing what ppl think of i don't no if i am gong to or not yet

Wonder how much heavier it is compared to the G260
 
The Zenoah G62PU engine is a 62cc performance machine. Includes Walbro HDA-48 high-performance carburetor, Champion RCJ-7Y spark plug, and canister muffler. Sold as shown.


Note: This engine was supplied specifically from Zenoah without ignition coil, flywheel, etc, so it could be used in R/C car applications (specifically, the KRD/Skopod conversion kit to allow this engine to fit into an HPI Baja 5b). In current form, this engine is not complete to be used in an R/C airplane.

Engine Stats: Displacement: 62cc (47.5mm bore, 35mm stroke). Power: 5.4HP @9,500 RPM. Torque: 3.04 ft/lbs @7,500 RPM. Compression Ratio: 8.2:1. Fuel: 87 octane or higher mixed 25:1 with 2-stroke oil.

Seems like the power's slightly up, but the torque will be HUGE :):cool2::)

Will this all counter the weight and fuel consumption deficit?
Will you need to change the clutch?
 
well i was going to use the parts from the baja like the clutch adatper but i don't no for sure if im gonna do this build i have to member m gonna b a dad soon

yea its due around my bday so that would b great bday present for me yea its going to b our first yea i want to do it but theres some much stuff that i would have to have fabed like mounts n everything but it would b sick if i could do it n if i were to get it i wouldnt b leaven the motor in its factory setup it would get sent out to get some work done in side but the truck is sick as it is w ts 30.5 from largescalerc but this osnt the only project i have going i also have lst 6x6x6 going that i am waiting on motors and some lil things to finish mok up so i can go cut the chassis n then i m really waiting on some to mke the centerdiff so i cn have the true 6x6 i could do a plastic one but i don't think it will hold together when i am going to use twin lrp 30x s but if anyone nos someone that could some cnc work that would b great so i can finish one project
 
yea if i did do this thats the way i was gonna go just get that n then have it sent out to get some magic done to it n hav to mke the other parts like clutch n some other things like the fly wheel clutch carrier
