Anyone heard any rumours about the new Kraken being developed? Apparently it's similar to a Vesla except 4x4, still with full independent suspension. Just rumours at this point though.

I was going to buy a Gas Vekta 5 last night, but thought I will hold off to see what this new machine is like.

The Vesla was Ok IMO. Very similar to a BAJA 5B except wider, so you could actually corner with it. It was easy to work on and handled pretty good for a 2WD if you took the time to set it up and tune the suspension/diff ect. My biggest problem with the Vesla was it's not very durable. Although I literally only drive around in a circuit destroying the local grass field, I found the odd tumble would normally bend or crack parts fairly easy. The chassis had a LOT of flex in it too and would bend easy as it was not particularly well supported. I ended up selling it as 2WD was just not what I was looking for.

Its a new car, new chassis as far as i know, and has a SX5 body / 12s (most probably Hobbywing max 5 g2 paired with a 800kv motor) / 4wd / They little change of body panel design of the SX5, & its un-noticeable.

Its called: Kraken RC VX12s

I just really hope it has a quick-release for the cage.

A quick release cage 100% !! I completely forgot how much of a pain in the butt that was to remove. Hopefully they make a Gas version, fingers crossed.
