If you are taking requests, then I would like to see a front and rear center ball drive shaft for the Losi DBXL.

Something like this:

Then you would have my undivided attention!
:)
Your request is to make the new diff and the flanges for the engine 100%?

My request is for the two long center drive shafts. They are running at a big angle to the front and rear diff, so they get worn very fast.
The pin in the universal can easily fall out, and the pin in the dog bone gets worn very fast.

The big angle force the dog bone pin to move back and forth alot, causing a lot of friction, making it wear down in no time. Thats why a ball system where you have more surface connection in the joint is a better solution. Put a rubber tube on it to keep out dust would make it last even longer.

How about making some motor mount inserts like the 5iveT has? The inserts would help to ensure consistent gear mesh without haven't to tighten the screws so tight and risk stripping them. Even if the inserts were not totally flush with the chassis this would be an improvement. The stock engine mount screws aren't flush anyway.

You are THE BEST! :D

And just to be clear, its like these:

The 5ive T mounts does not fit in the DBXL chassis, sadly.

Thank you for your pic.Look so nice. And we have this plan to make the engine mount for DBXL but the chassis of 5T is defferent from DBXL and we need to do some test,so it will not be launched immediately.

Yes for DBXL.

Just like the pic in Noziroh's post.

I second the ball drive system and engine inserts!

That ball drive system was discontinued due to failure. You need booted driveshafts with grease packed in there. The ball drive was a failure and an expensive waste of money. Pack your drives full of grease and boot them. No more issues. Once I did this on my 5ive the pin wear is gone

There are 3 pinion gears now available for the DBXL. A 19t, the stock 20t and the 21 tooth. So, if you're making these, would be wise to make some for all three. I just purchased the pinion set on Friday. Horizon has them but your local shop should be able to get them too.
