The new body seemed to handle well and looks great, didnt have any major roll overs so I'll gradually keep pushing the envelope on what this body can take. I just need some silver wheel nuts to complete the look, not a fan of the black on blue! Only adjustment I had to make was a small hole for the exhuast of Sprint77's dom show in pic 3.

Thanks Clubin, I originally got that body for the MCD that I got from you but after deciding to change it to the baja1000 :D I figured I'd use the body on the Rampage. MCD Baja should be up and running in a few weeks, thanks again for all the help on what parts to get.

don't worry noyb.. i tested it for you. the body is thin and very flexable, but took a few upside down, full throttle roof landings with no damage at all. thought it was a goner for sure, but its great. you big spender.. went for the sticker kit? i didnt and should have. the empty grill looks funny on mine.did you have to grind away the edge on the front body mount? i did becouse of the hood scoop. i have alum body mounts and it was tough. i also removed the roof plate becouse it hits the rear edge of the bed.. the body was my only week spot, and im glad i finally fixed it..

Hey Krypt, lol@ the sticker kit ;) . I did have to grind down the front bumper so that it would fit properly. Gonna hit the dirt tomorrow after work to push it some more.

Took the truck out again today, and Krypt you were right. This thing can take a beating! Only problem is my rear dom may be heating things up underneath the cabin area even with the exhaust hole I made. Are you using the side dom with this body?

no. im using the X-can with 3" stingers wich are a few inches from the bed, but no melting yet. about 4-5 tanks so far. i am nervous though. it has to get hot under there. i always check it and am afraid it will melt the tail gate or something else..

is yours melting?

Nice body, are there pre-drilled holes for the MCD?? Would be cool if there were no holes.

It's not melting but it does have me a tad worried..

You guys think that body would clear the side Dom pipe?
its slightly narrower then the stock shell, but is flared out alot more around the wheel wells. i'll mock it up later, but this is as low as the body can sit with out taking the cage off. my alum body mounts are extended to the last hole

That's what I'm trying to find out, keep having issues with the modified rear and the bracing.

I don’t think the body will fit without trimming. Like Kryptonite, I have the body mounts extended to the last screw hole. As you can see from the pics I had to push in the side of the body to mount it on the truck. View attachment 1269View attachment 1270View attachment 1271View attachment 1272View attachment 1273
