Which are bigger & wider bow ties or the Hostiles? Hostiles looks more aggressive then the bow ties.. @Zapped: would you happen to have a link for the Hostiles with wheels or do you have to buy them separate?

Bought them separately and have them mounted on Pro-line Desperado wheels, you will need to purchase the inserts also. The Hostiles and inserts are available from DDM.I think you can get the Pro-line wheels there also.

The with will depend on the wheel type. The hostile MXT and Pro-line Bowtie in the 'Rear 5B' size would be equal. The ones in that pic are the MXT, lots of users running the 5B rears enjoy the mini MXTs.

If i wasn't in a rush and wanted more wheel height (bought pre-mounted trenchers). I would have gone silverback mercenary rear 5B wheel all around, with hostile MXT, and silver back HD lipped beadlocks + silverback course black beadlock screws.

i thought the MXT was for the 5t, if so 5t rear wheels and tires are not as wide as 5b tires and wheels, and 5t tires are taller than 5b tires so if you mix them up you get improper fitting tires and foams. maybe someone can help out on this?

You are correct in my verbiage was off. I meant to say Hostile MX. MXT is for truck, MX 'Nightmare' is for 5B. Same large lug.

Bottom of this page: The "Nightmare" MX knobby tire for the 5B.

http://www.hostileracingproducts.com/tires_mx.htm

2355 - Hard compound MX

2365 - Extra hard compound MX

5B Fronts, and 5T Front wheels (rim) are the same 120mm tall by 60mm wide. 5B Rears and 5T/SC Rear are same height, 120mm but 5B are 75mm wide, and 5T/sc is 65mm wide. There's a ton of different offsets between truck/buggy thought.

The height of 5T tires is in their side wall.

The gents questions was which are wider the bowtires, or the hostiles, which depends on what he gets. If in that picture those are nightmare 5B MX tires, then they are same width as 5B rear bowtie. If they truly are 5T MXT, then they are narrower by 10mm than the bowties, and have a shorter sidewall on the tire itself. In Zapped photo the rows of lugs are offset, so seems like nightmare MX, MXT's are much more in line. You can really see the difference lookin on the hostile page.
