Just picked up a used Losi 5ive. Waiting on a kill switch and should hopefully get it out to the track next week. I know it won't keep up with the Cat in a drag race, but it should be fun to run on the track.


Man these things are big! Hard to believe it makes the Cat look small!

Thanks guys.

Just installed and set up a killer bee on it and I can't believe the previous owner never had one. I wasn't even going to use it with out one! Added the optional led which made set up super easy, its nice to have a light telling you what its doing without even having to start the engine. Just changed the diff fluids, rebuilt the shocks and charged the batteries so I'm good to go. Plan on taking it to the local track on Wednesday to give it a run. Up coming plans are to order a killer RC lipo and do some research on a pipe and big bore kit.

They are nice, what upgrades are done to it? To be honest I would not wast the time and money on the big bore kit Imo. I've been down that road with it.
