I have been working this problem for last year and have determined that the new motor must have sheared key on fly wheel. The story goes like this have new 2speed clutch bell and motor has new clutch already. Went to remove clutch and cranked motor over with pull start till stopped on pin piston removal tool. When loosen bolts on clutch, still turns witch would leave me to believe key is sheared off...Would Love some input from other members. The Baja I have hardly move as is...:(

I have found the problem with clutch slipish ! Was not Clutch at all, the taper center screw fitting had come loose. Finally got clutch and tapered mount on w/locktite and will mount clutch assy and give try....So if you ever find that you cant get clutch out cos spins after you lock piston that's what is.....
