New Servo Opinion

It looks like the steering servo on my Losi 5T 2.0 went bad, wheels barely turn when the truck is sitting on the ground. Looking to replace both steering and throttle servos. What's your opinion on Hitec 845 steering and 840 throttle vs running 2 Savox SV-0236MG? The 845 has more torque but same speed as Savox. Savox will drop in (I think) vs modifying the radio tray. Savox are $30 more for two.

Do the majority go with the Hitec?

Could the stock throttle servo ok to leave since it doesn't get much force on it? Thinking back to last time I ran, I did do a little running on grass so maybe that's what fried my steering servo...

Hitech for the win. They were a tight fit on my dbxl, but I just jammed the pricks in there. I don't look forward to the day I have to remove them.

+1 for hilantronics. Get the 7010d
I have the savox 0236 for steering, and throttle/brake.it’s ok for steering. I swapped out the steering for the hilantronics 7010d

I can’t speak for the hitec 845, but a lot of ppl run them

I've got an 845 coming from DDM. Also trying to get a stock replacement under warranty from Horizon just because.

Horizon is sending me a stock replacement servo. Good customer service!
