Hey guys

Just picked up a like new Firehammer for cheap!! bashed it all last weekend, broke the front knuckle, the deal pulled out on the bottom. So thats on the list, gonna order a few spares from tower since they are so cheap untill I get some Alum ones..

But my question is, does anyone offer a billet L side engine mount?? couldn't figure out why my mesh kept getting off, well there is a crack on the top where the bearing presses in.. Is that pretty common?? I'm trying to just get it back going for the weekend so I can bash it again "cheaply" Pretty sure some of the things were already broke.. Thinking My uncle can machine a left side one up pretty cheapl if no one offers one.

Also is there a filter adapter or something to put a regular foam round one on?? I was just gonna order the stuff I needed from Tower since it is pretty inexpensive at the moment to get me back going, unless you guys think otherwise.

Last but not least, how much drag should be on the bearings that are in the knuckles, all 4 corners on mine seem kinda crappy, is this common? anybody have a part # from TWR, couln't find those yet.

Oh, I did spend the last two nights reading a bunch of post!! So, not a complete NooBi!!
 
Make sure the 3 gear plate spacers are located correctly, 1 is shorter than the 2.

Make sure you get the correct engine mount....There are a few different ones.
 
All that seemed to be ok, Need to order a new 14t pinion gear cause it got a bit shafed up.. Do you guys think it would be a good idea to get a new 48t drive gear to match, It was a bit messed up to, but not bad.. 16 bucks from twr
 
MT.. O oredered everything from twr on Mon, still haven't got them yet. Hoping to get it tomorrow, I'm only two states away, so it shouldn't take a wk
 
Does if parts come from Navada warehouse.....There not all In champaine IL.

well if my motor mount doesn't come by tomorrow. I'm gonna make on on sat out of aluminum. Doesn't Look to be all that difficult to make. I have a mill and the material. Definatly doable.
 
tower hobbies is good for fh parts. sucks the aluminum dif has been discontinued. I have one in my fg. I am just waiting for my tower order to arrive. I like if I need an order fast I just use ups. it gets here in 1-2 days then, across the border.

the fh mt motor mount set incl an alum mount too. great prices on the parts
