Heald Super Bronc from the mid-70s.

10 HP Tecumseh

Notice someone put a huge 96 tooth sprocket on the back...its a torque monster!

I plan on keeping this one for a long while. My father in law and his siblings bought these new in'72, and his son has an older one too. So it's my turn :) They were made in Benton Harbor, MI in the late 60s to mid 80s...only an hour or two from me

Say! thats in good shape! In Washington state many years ago, The C-C Corps built thousands of miles of single track trails- Very tough men in the day. You would have to see these trails for yourself to realize the back breaking work invloved- Biidges, dynamiting passable trails tru miles of rock fields- There is a trail north of lake Chelan called Angels staircase- horse head pass. Extreme to say the least. This type of motorcycle -, and later years the 2wd Rokon trail breaker were used to transport supplies before the Kevan Jet Ranger helecoptor were even invented- used. This was all done by men of steel that needed work. Now the trails are built mostly with a miniture custom built combonation cat- back hoe. pardon the spelling.

The Wrecking crew.

The old wrecking crew. The red mount was my CR 480. I never used a loading ramp- I hit the front tire on the lowered tailgate and bounced the mount and I into the old forest circus truck. The photo with Cow-bell- Hyena- Chucky is about 9,000 ft up. there used to be a fire look out there built by the cc corps. Thats Alfred standing by Mad lake. The photos all have The mountians of the North Cascades in the background. This ride was about 75-80+ miles that day. We always went to work on time - biight eyed, bushy tailed with a dirt bike hangover on Monday morning--
