I have one on the losi and love it,just picked one up for this for £50
I wondered because most seem to use the one that comes over the engine and exits out the back.

yeah thats the fg big power pipe its meant to be the best pipe available for adding power and they look great with the silencer coming out the back,,im after the samba 7 titan but it means selling a kidney

The one i have looks the same layout as the stock pipe.
Does the rear of my car appear to have something on it to widen it? My rear wheels stick out past the shell.
Do you guys also run a lot of toe out on the front?

i run about 5mm of toe out at the front,,,as for your rear wheels sticking out you may be able to wind the turn buckles in a bit to get the wheels looking right all depends on the dog bones to much and the dog bones will jam giving you no suspension travel

check out this set up guide its for the later fg evo cars but most can be used on your car i run this set up on mine and it works well ive made a few changes here and there to suit me but its a good set up

My next issue is the brakes binding on full right lock. Is it possible to get longer cables so i can route them better for one,and can you get the cable carrier on the hub in alloy?

Got a couple of new bits, first a samba

It's going to need some modding to fit,i may end up using this on the Losi and using the samba from that on this instead.

also got some narrower wheel squares as the ones fitted to mine are too wide.



With the new squares fitted should i have adjusted something else or is this ok?

Anyone else running a C5 or even an Fg with plastic rear end? When i set the rear ride height,the droop screw is missing the part of the tower it is supposed to sit on.
How has this been cured or are all plastic rear end cars chassis' 50mm off the ground?

think it may have the wrong rear shocks mate they look a lot longer than whats on my fg

do you know how long the rears should be?

not on the carson mate but on mine there quite short all round more like marder fronts ect when i find my tape i'll check them

just checked mine mate with car lifted off the ground at the rear the shocks are 115mm mounting hole to mounting hole and when on the ground the rear wishbones are level
