Hello there peeps
i just got back to my 1/5scale truck after my place flooded last year

My transmitter was full of water...
So i bought anew transmitter/receiver set

So it connects and work just as intended
I start my 1/5 scale and it will instant lose signal
when the 1/5 starts the servos will twitch on there own *with no transmitter signal*
If i kill my engine it reconnects and works

Some times after engine starts it will work, but then loses signal 5-10 seconds after

Was the 1/5 scale flooded as well cause all that glitchyness are shorts. You may need new servos, kill switch etc.

No my 1/5 scale was higher up in my cupboard, it was on some boxes at the time of the flood
my transmitter was on the floor of my cupboard

and when the transmitter is connected fully, there is no servo twitching / glitching

Good to read it was not the whole RC.

What does "connected fully" mean? More details the better chances of help coming.

i mean as in connected to the receiver there is 0 glitching / twitching

im going to buy the Ferrite Ring
+ put some electric tape around the sparkplug / HT cap

What plug are you using ? some of the chinese ones are not as quiet as NGK .
Short of that I would guess the engine vibration is shaking something about , check all plugs and sockets are vlean and secure.
clean

I've just tried 3 different battery's original with the truck
1 i bought months after and a newer one

all the same issue, works when truck is not started
0 signal soon as it started
i looked at the Spark plug and its some china crap

Order List:-
NGK spark plug
Ferrite Filter Clips got 5 pack so going to put one on every wire
anew kill switch

buying all that today,
Sparkplug next day
Ferrite Filter Clips next day
Kill switch 1-2week...

i just got the transmitter / receiver yesterday so its 100% not that
its 100% HT cap / spark plug issue

Thanks for the help
