Yeah Moo, had to trim the front and rear a little. I mounted it before painting and it seemed to fit ok but in it's stock trim the tires will end up hitting when the suspension compresses. Just had to take a tad off of the back and a little more off the fron. I made/modded the stock body mounts as the posts were too short to reach the body as I wanted it mounted. Out comes the Dremel to take off the stock body posts, cut 2 new ones from the Pro-line set (about 1.5 inches long). Then I drilled a small hole in the old mount base to run 2 bolts thru, drilled a smaller hole in each new body post, ran 2 new bolts through the old mount base into the new posts with a drop of Shoe Goo on the bottom of each one and there is the new rear mount. I only have a cell phone camera at the moment but can show some pics if you guys want to see the rear mount. I also used some neoprane washers to "cushion" the new shell so it's not setting directly on the mounts. They came with the 5B SS which it doesn't use in the shocks so I had 4 of them. Can't wait to get the pipe on there and give her a shot. Oh, and the new rear diff cup. :D

I doubt it. The front will go on no problem but the back with the stock size body posts won't. with the stock mounts the rear body posts end up in the 2 raised panels of the body. You can see where I am talking about on mine, they are the only blue surface on the top of the back. These areas stick up from the shallow side at 1/8 inch higher than the mounts to 3/4 inch where I have mine mounted. Maybe if you mount it so the front of the body is behind the front bumper you can get away with it. i didn't like the way that looked as too much of the body was hanging over the back end and it looked unbalanced. You could actaully do the body post mod I did with aluminum by puchasing some aluminum LST2 aluminum body posts. You'd still have to cut the old posts off flush with the flat area of the mount, drill them out for a small bolt. Then measure and cut the posts, place them in a vice and drill a hole for a bolt to go through the post from the bottom, tap it and use the right size bolt for the threads you tapped. Then simply bolt the posts to the mount. Or forgoe all of that and just do it with the stock plastic mount and the posts the Pro-line body comes with. It only took about 10 minutes to make the modded mount from start to finish and since only a little more than a 1/4 inch sticks past the body it doesn't detract from the appearance. I will say this, the Lexan on the rat body is THICK. It's just as thick as the Desert Rat body on my Baja 5B SS. I am glad that it comes pre-cut because the Baja body was a female dog to cut out. I couldn't imagine what a pain it would have been to cut the hole body out for the Desert Rat truck body.
