Hello all,
Just got a T1000a from Dan and am trying to get it dialed in and buttoned up before my first run with it. I have started going over the kit starting at the front and working my way back. So far I have:

1) tightened up bead locks with blue loctite after finding them loose

2) did the steering slop mod to the ball links on the steering arms

3) cut down two led flashlights to make x2 3v led throwers

4) plasti dipped both servos/ballooned the rx

5) loctite carb screws

6) inner tube shock sock mod

7) roughed brake disc set brake tens on linkage

8) set end points on tx for TH and ST servos

9) Changed plug to NGK, gapped and installed

10) loctite header screws

I know a lot of other guys have been getting I to the diff and checking lube situation...I am holding off on this until I find out what diff oil to buy, and until the split case alloy that everyone recommends gets here. I am also curious what setups you guys are running in toe in and camber. The rear looks like over 2-4 degrees toe in and has probably 6-8 degrees negative camber. While the front is not matching side to side with one (DF) 3-4 degrees neg camber and 1 deg toe in...the other (PF) 0 deg camber and approx 1-2 degrees toe out. Kind of a nightmare out of the box. Any advice on other things I should be checking and/or doing will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Just remembered another question, what grease do you guys run in the boots and bearings?

(Inner filter oiled, dogbone shields made ready to be installed)

I use team fast Eddie for boot grease(best I have found)for diff oil I use 3000k..not too thick and great on loose traction..I'm still running stock shock oil.no need for heavier wt yet..just make sure you run a good 2 stroke oil for premix. I currently run amsoil dominator.but also have great results with maxima castor 927 also..also make sure to get a kill switch it could save you a ton of money and headaches in the end..with that being said go out and tear it up and get dirty:D

You would wont to remove and loctite the top left screw on the clutch bell side these always vibrate loose and start pushing on the brakes and the gear loctite all the screws on the gear assembly and the gear screws also.
